San Diego, Calif. (December 17, 2025) – The San Diego Convention Center (SDCC) is now using PlanetBids in support of more modern, transparent, and efficient procurement practices. By centralizing bid opportunities and automating vendor notifications, this digital platform positions SDCC to increase visibility and engagement with potential vendors, suppliers, construction contractors, architects, and project facilitators.

The three-year partnership with PlanetBids includes a suite of tools designed to streamline vendor outreach, solicitation creation, submission evaluation, contract execution, and compliance tracking. Together, these tools enable SDCC to manage the full lifecycle of procurement in a secure, centralized system that saves time and increases competition.

The online vendor portal enables suppliers to easily register and maintain profiles, receive automated bid notifications, and upload required documents. Having previously used PlanetBids before the pandemic, SDCC is returning to the platform in preparation for future facility enhancement projects.
