DeeAnne Snyder, CMP

Director of Event Services

DeeAnne Snyder is a San Diego native and has been with the San Diego Convention Center Corporation since May 1993. Before joining SDCCC, DeeAnne directed a variety of local consumer shows for a local magazine publication.

In 2006, she was promoted to Director of Convention Services, having served as a Senior Event Manager prior. In March 2012, DeeAnne returned to the Event Services department to lead the team as the Director. DeeAnne has received several hospitality industry awards for leadership and service over the years:

  • 2002 PCMA Convention Services Manager of the Year Award
  • YWCA TWIN Award
  • JV Cunningham Award for Excellence in Service, given by the SD Hotel Motel Sales & Marketing Association

Twice received the Educator of the Year Award for Continuing Education from University of San Diego/George Washington University Event Management Certificate program
