Plan Your Visit With Our San Diego Attendee Guide

From our 70-miles of pristine beaches to world-renowned attractions like the San Diego Zoo and Balboa Park, to famous dining establishments, San Diego truly has something for everybody!

Regardless of your reason to visit our region, where you're visiting from or how many times you've traveled here, we have just the thing you need to plan your stay. The latest edition of the San Diego Convention Center's 2019-2020 Attendee Guide is here, and it has everything you need to know in order to make the most out of your time in America's Finest City.

Not only will you join us during the San Diego Convention Center's 30th anniversary year (we opened our doors in 1989!), but you have the opportunity to explore the City of San Diego and all of its amenities during its 250th anniversary! The San Diego Convention Center is expected to welcome 850,000 attendees who are projected to generate over $690 million in direct spending for the 2019-2020 year.

Food, Drinks & Fun Await

Over 150 food and drink options sit within walking distance of the Convention Center inside the Gaslamp Quarter. Or if you prefer to venture out from Downtown and into nearby neighborhoods such as Little Italy and Old Town, you will be able find authentic ethnic cuisines ranging from Mexican, Middle Eastern, Italian and everything in between.

San Diego has some stellar scenery. While you're here, you can also enjoy "dining with a view" of San Diego at different locations like Mister A's, Roy's Restaurant, Sally's Fish House & Bar and The Fish Market.

San Diego is also home to award-winning craft breweries, earning us the title of "Capital of Craft." Many options to raise your glass are in short walking distances from the San Diego Convention Center.

Been here before, but want to try something new? The new 10,000-square-foot Plaza Della Famiglia in Little Italy offers daytime farmers markets on Wednesdays and Saturdays. Theatre Box, the Gaslamp's newest luxury cinema, is another one of San Diego's entertainment opportunities which offers dining and its signature goblet-sized cocktails in a theater setting. And eat, drink and play at the East Village's Punch Bowl Social, where you can find cocktails and entertainment in the form of arcade games, karaoke and bowling.

If you find yourself unsure of what to do for the weekend with your family, flip to page 90 of the attendee guide and you'll find our ideal three-day weekend which is sure to be filled with fun for the whole family.
