Summer Brings New Community Events to San Diego Convention Center

This summer, the San Diego Convention Center is creating new experiences for San Diegans by debuting three unique events.

These events are our way of opening our doors to the community at large through new opportunities that are different from the traditional trade shows, conventions and conferences we've hosted for nearly 29 years.

Big Bay Boom 4th of July Fireworks Viewing Party

You're invited to celebrate America's birthday with us at the San Diego Convention Center for a night of food, fireworks, giveaways and family fun. Join us on our waterfront terraces, one of the best places to see the Big Bay Boom. Bring your appetite: we will be serving up our Craft Beer-Battered Fish Tacos made fresh by our food and beverage team at Centerplate.

This 21 and up dance music event, presented by the same talented organizers of the CRSSD Festival will debut under the Sails Pavilion on Saturday, June 23. FNGRS CRSSD's NGHT.MVS XL will bring a day-to-night, outdoor-to-indoor experience for fans of house and techno music in one of the region's most unique locations. Sunset Yoga Under the Sails

Take a breather at our first ever Sunset Yoga Under the Sails. Welcome to anyone interested in de-stressing, we've teamed up with Downtown San Diego Partnership to bring you this free community event, one you don't want to miss. Namaste under the LED colored lights that will change during the course of the event.
