Explore San Diego on Two Wheels

Year-round sunshine is only one of the many reasons San Diego is a top meeting and convention destination. Our waterfront convention center is surrounded by more than 11,000 hotels rooms, 100 restaurants and 90 bars and world famous attractions – all within walking distance. Now San Diego is becoming a top “bikeable” city as well.

Named one of the top 10 bike-friendly cities by USA Today, the City of San Diego is going the extra mile by implementing a bicycle sharing program and partnering in the development of a bike loop around the city. It’s an effort to make San Diego a “world-class bike city. This is a whole new way for both locals and visitors to explore the city.

The San Diego Bike Loop, a 7.3- mile route, sends cyclists to some of San Diego’s top attractions. The on-street loop is noticeably marked with special way-finding symbols that take riders through downtown.
